The Redmi K40 launch is scheduled on February 25 in China on Weibo. Already we heard about various leaks and rumors, now officially teased an image of triple rear camera setup with two big sensors and one small sensor has been shared. The Redmi K40 Pro will be the first smartphone series to feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset. The series is expected to include the Redmi K40 and Redmi K40 Pro smartphones. But it is not clear yet which device will get the Snapdragon 888 SoC.
Officials shared a teaser image on Weibo revealing the triple rear camera setup. In the image we see two large sensors, a small sensor, a flash and a laser autofocus – all of which are housed inside a camera module that looks similar to the Xiaomi Mi 11. The teaser image also shared that the launch event will begin on February 25 at 7:30 pm local time (5pm IST).
The officials shared that the Redmi K40 Pro will be the first Redmi series to come with Snapdragon 888 SoC. Again, we clarify which version in the series will be powered by the latest Qualcomm SoC, it is not clear yet. However, a tipster had previously suggested that the Redmi K40 Pro will feature Snapdragon 888 SoC and the Redmi K40 will feature Snapdragon 870 SoC.

The Redmi K40 Pro comes with a 6.81-inch FHD LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate with 1,440×3,200 pixels resolution and a punch hole selfie camera.
