Twitter v/s Government Spat
Amid the ongoing dispute between twitter and government over the delay in suspension of several twitter accounts which played role in conspiracy against India over the farmers protest run a hashtag related to ‘farmer genocide’ to which govt. asked Twitter to suspend such accounts posting harmful content and fake news that violates Indian laws and code of ethics. But twitter did not take action against the all accounts but only about 500 accounts were suspended.
As a result of which Indian ministers shifted to Koo and asked their followers, supporters to join Koo App to support Aatmnirbhar Bharat Abhiyan in this series
Previous year this social networking service app won the AATMNIRBHAR BHARAT APP INNOVATION CHALLENGE. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi appreciated the effort of its developers in his Radio Programme Mann Ki Baat. As the Indian Politicians and government officials started shifting to this app.
